A trail guide is available at the site entrance or can be downloaded This booklet has been put together with the guides and the team of gardeners. It will help you discover the secrets of this magical place: its history, the atmosphere its plants create, its seasons as well as the fauna and what goes on behind the scenes.
Please note:  what to bring: boots in case of rain.
FOLLOW THE GUIDE
From April to November, discover the Gardens over 1 hr 30 with a guide. Your guide will provide all the keys to understand the history of the site, the interaction between man and nature. He’ll also teach you to recognise the site’s rare and iconic species. Armed with this basic knowledge, you can continue your visit at your own pace.

PAIR YOUR VISIT WITH VALLOIRES ABBEY



The Gardens of Valloires open on a Cistercian Abbey founded in 1158. Destroyed over the centuries, it was rebuilt in the 18th century in a classical architecture that combines a Baroque decor.

Common ticket Abbey and Gardens : 16.90 €
Guided tour only, departures at 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m.

A life size playground
At Les Jardins de Valloires, children are kings, they can run on the big lawn, take the small path of the marsh garden or the spiral of the garden of evolution, hide behind the trees or in the wicker hut.

But especially your little pieces of cabbage will be able to make new experiences in the Garden of the 5 senses which is especially dedicated to them: to recognize the colors of the roses or peonies, to listen to the dance of the bamboos, to smell the perfume of the flowers, to touch the barks of trees or foliage, taste the forgotten fruits.
Life-size games
Time for a treasure hunt, follow the knight Lamarck for a guided tour in which enigmas and activities follow one another.
Other wooden games await children to challenge their balance or simply have fun.
